Vacuum the back coils

Check the airflow inside
Look at the back wall of the fridge interior. There should be a small grille or vent. If you have stuffed a loaf of bread or a milk carton against it, the cold air cannot circulate. Move things forward, leave a couple of centimetres of clearance against the back wall, and check again in 24 hours.
Confirm the ambient temperature
If the fridge is in a Kitchener basement, an unheated cottage in winter, or a chilly garage, verify the room is at least 16 degrees Celsius. Below that, the thermostat may not call for cooling and the interior temperature drifts up unexpectedly. Move the fridge to a heated space or look for a Class T-rated compact unit if the location is permanently cold.

Brada compact washer issues
Brada and Danby compact washers (the 18 to 24 inch wide units common in Kitchener condos and townhomes) share a few predictable failure patterns. Here are the ones we see most often.
Drum will not spin
Two likely causes: a worn drive belt or worn motor brushes (older brushed-motor units only). The drive belt is a 15 to 20 dollar part and accessible by removing the back panel. Brushes are similar pricing. If the motor hums but the drum does not turn, that is a brushes issue. If the motor is silent and the drum is loose, that is a belt.
Will not drain
On compact units, the drain pump is small and clogs easily on hair, lint, and small fabric items that get past the drum. Most Brada compact washers have a coin trap or filter at the front bottom behind a small access panel. Pull it out, clean it, run a cycle. About 70 percent of drain issues are solved this way.
Vibrating or walking across the floor
Compact washers are light, so an unbalanced load shakes the whole unit. Check that all four feet are screwed down evenly and the unit is not on a sloped tile floor. Adding rubber anti-vibration pads under each foot (any Kitchener Home Hardware carries them) reduces walking dramatically. If the unit still walks with a balanced load, the spider arm or counterweight bolts may have loosened – that is a service call.
Save your money
Compact washer-dryer combo units have a known weak point: the heating element on the dryer side. Replacement is a $180 to $260 repair on a unit that originally cost $1,200 to $1,800. Burner stays on at full heat regardless of dial setting
This is a stuck infinite-switch (the rotary control behind the burner dial). It is a safety issue – the burner cannot regulate. Unplug the unit and call a technician. Do not use the burner until the switch is replaced.

Place an oven thermometer in the centre of the rack at 175 degrees C and check after 15 minutes. If the reading is more than 15 degrees off, the oven sensor or the bake element may need replacement.
